Apple Butternut Farro Recipe

Farro is a nutty, toothsome whole grain that is easy to make and is so versatile, you'll always want to have some on hand for farro recipes like this one.

Cook the farro until it's tender and toothsome according to manufacturer's directions. 

This farro recipe is perfect for fall with ingredients like butternut squash, apples, mushrooms and rosemary. 

Start by browning the mushrooms in a skillet, then transfer to a bowl. 

In the same skillet, saute diced onion, butternut squash and some rosemary. A stick of cinnamon will flavor the pilaf style farro recipe.

Add the mushrooms back into the butternut and apple mixture.

Then stir in the cooked farro and chopped parsley. Season to taste.
