Florida Grilled Mahi Mahi Sandwiches

Hungry for a good grilled fish sandwich? These Florida style Mahi Mahi sandwiches taste like a trip to the Keys.

Start with really fresh mahi mahi fillets.  They don't need a lot of seasoning, just salt & pepper.

Heat the grill to 450°-500°. Use a wire brush to remove any fond or debris from the grill. This will help prevent the fish from sticking to the grates.

Brush the grill with canola oil on a paper towel. I advise using a pair of grill gloves and tongs to do this, as my husband singed the hairs on his hand when he did it like this. LOL!

Grill the seasoned mahi mahi fillets for about 4 minutes on one side and 2-4 minutes on the other or until cooked through.

The fish fillets will be tender, moist and delicious. Build your mahi mahi sandwich with your favorite ingredients.

Add tartar sauce to a toasted bun and layer with lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion and the grilled mahi mahi fillets.

This is the best grilled mahi mahi sandwich ever!
