How To Make The Best  Homemade Yeast Rolls

There's nothing better than homemade rolls. For these you don't need any special equipment & you can make the dough in advance.

Start by blooming Active Dry Yeast in warm water, (between 105°-115° F) to activate the yeast.

Dissolve some sugar in milk with a stick of butter. Make sure it doesn't go over 115°.

Add the bloomed yeast into the warm milk, sugar & butter. Note: butter doesn't have to be completely melted.

Stir in the flour with a wooden spoon until well combined.

Knead the dough on a floured work surface and set in a bowl to rise and double in size.

Roll the dough out until it's about 1" thick. I like to use a ruler to be sure.

Use a biscuit cutter to cut the rolls into rounds.

Brush with an egg wash to give the yeast rolls a shiny, glossy look.

Bake until golden, brush with butter and garnish with flaky sea salt & parsley.
