How To Make Peach Hand Pies

Peaches are the best summer fruit for everything from salads to drinks & of course, desserts.

Start the hand pie recipe with a homemade pastry crust. It's easy to do in a food processor.

Pulse to cut the butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Divide the dough into two discs, wrap in plastic & rest the dough in the fridge.

Add chopped peaches to a saucepan w/brown sugar, bourbon & cornstarch.

Simmer the peach pie filling mixture until it's thick. Set aside to cool.

Roll out the pastry and fill each pie with some of the peach bourbon filling.

Fold the pastries over the peach filling. Brush with cream & sprinkle w/sugar.

Bake the hand pies until golden and drizzle with bourbon glaze.
