How To Make Stuffed Shrimp

Use the freshest jumbo shrimp you can find to make this easy stuffed shrimp recipe. Look for U10-U15 (12-15 shrimp/lb.)

Peel the shrimp, but leave the last segment & tail on. Slice along the entire length of the shellfish.

You'll see the vein (the digestive tract) in the center of the shellfish.

Pull the vein out of the shrimp and discard. That's how you clean shrimp.

The stuffing is made with lump crab meat. Drain the crab well before assembling the filling 

Saute onions and bell peppers until softened and mix with mayo, mustard, egg, parsley and spices. 

Add crabmeat and panko breadcrumbs to the other ingredients and mix until well combined. 

Spoon the crabmeat stuffing onto the butterflied shrimp and fold the tail over the filling.

Bake the stuffed shrimp until the seafood is cooked through, about 18-20 mins.

Serve the crab stuffed shrimp as a fancy appetizer or main course.
