How To Make Lobster Stock

So, you bought some lobsters & made awesome lobster rolls. Now what?

Don't toss those shells! You can use them to make rich, homemade lobster stock!

Just sweat a few everyday veggies and aromatics in a skillet until softened.

Add the lobster shells to the skillet.

Add some fresh herbs.

A can of diced tomatoes, wine and water. Simmer for 40-50 minutes.

Use a large strainer to remove the solids from the lobster stock.

Use a finer strainer to remove smaller particles from the lobster stock.

Makes the best lobster stock to use in all your favorite recipes.
