How To Make Baked Spinach Cheese Stuffed Manicotti

When you're craving cheesy baked Italian comfort food, this spinach stuffed manicotti is an easy, delicious recipe for the whole family.

Just boil the manicotti until it's not quite al dente (usually 2-3 minutes less time than the package suggests. Let the cooked pasta cool on a sheet pan.

Use ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Grana Padana, crushed red pepper, oregano, salt & pepper with thawed frozen spinach and one egg for the filling.

Sauté the garlic, then add the oregano, red pepper and seasonings until fragrant. Stir in the chopped spinach and roasted red bell pepper.

Add the ricotta, mozzarella and grated Grana Padano plus an egg to the pan.

Mix until the ingredients are well combined, then transfer to a piping bag.

Pipe the spinach ricotta filling into the cooled manicotti shells and transfer to a casserole dish.

Place the stuffed manicotti in a casserole dish with a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom. Top with more sauce and cheese.

Bake until the pasta is hot and bubbly and the cheese is gooey ("gooey" is a technical cooking term ?).
