Vegetable Primavera w/Ham

There's no denying that pasta with a creamy sauce is irresistible, and this simple primavera is a great twist on the classic recipe.

Sauté the mushrooms until tender and browned.

Then cook onions until soft and add flour to form a paste.

Add vegetable broth, lemon zest & half & half to the flour mixture to make the sauce.

Add cooked pasta to the sauce. We like to use shells, but also try penne.

Add freshly grated parmesan to the shells.

Add  diced ham, sun-dried tomatoes, blanched asparagus and mushrooms.

Now doesn't that look good?
