How To Make Pulled Pork Casserole 

When you've got leftover pulled pork, set some aside for thishomemade pulled pork casserole w/cheese & pasta.

Sweat the vegetables in butter, then stir in flour, kosher salt and pepper to coat the celery & onions.

I use leftover braising liquid from the pulled pork, but you can also use chicken broth as well. 

Mix the broth into the vegetables, stirring until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat & add the cheddar cheese.

Stir in the leftover pulled pork and mix with the cheese sauce.

Add cooked penne to the pulled pork and cheese sauce to coat the pasta. 

Layer a casserole dish with the pulled pork and pasta followed by a layer of smoked gouda cheese & more pork & noodles.

Top the pulled pork casserole with breadcrumbs and bake until crispy and golden. 

This homestyle pulled pork casserole makes a great dinner with a green salad. Like a grown-up macaroni and cheese.
