Best Meatloaf & Mushroom Gravy

This meatloaf starts w/a blend of ground veal, pork & beef. It's a classic meatloaf mix you'll love.

The key to moist tender meatloaf is a panade - a mix of equal parts milk and breadcrumbs. This mash makes the ground meat, soft & moist every time.

For the best flavor, I use a combination of fresh and dried herbs, paprika, cayenne and garlic.

In a large bowl, mix the blend of ground meat with panade, eggs and spices and mix with your hands.

This recipe makes a large meatloaf to feed a crowd - and makes the best meatloaf sandwiches.

I use a large glass loaf pan & line it with thin slices of prosciutto and fresh sage.

Bake for 50-60 minutes until the veal pork & beef meatloaf is done.

Turn the meatloaf onto a platter so that the sage and prosciutto are displayed.

This homemade meatloaf is just like Mom's. You'll love this family favorite.

Serve the meatloaf with an easy mushroom gravy (recipe given).

Meatloaf w/mushroom gravy is always a hit!
