Banana Cabana

This dirty banana drink (so called because of the coffee liqueur and Irish cream additions) makes a delicious frozen banana cocktail you'll want to sip all summer long.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Coco Lopez cream of coconut
  • ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Kahlua
  • 1 tablespoon white rum (can use dark rum also)
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1½ cups crushed ice
  • pinch nutmeg
  • a few slices of banana for garnish

Instructions

  • Into a heavy-duty blender, add the ingredients in this order: 3 tablespoons Coco Lopez cream of coconut, ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream, 1 tablespoon Kahlua, 1 tablespoon white rum, 1 very ripe banana and 1½ cups crushed ice.
  • Blend until the ice is thoroughly blended into the drink and there are no more chunks.  Should be smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into serving glasses and garnish with a pinch nutmeg and a few slices of banana for garnish if desired.  Tropical umbrellas optional!
