Fond is a strictly advertising-free zone that gives home cooks what they’ve always wanted. JUST THE RECIPE… in a super-easy “Recipe Stream” format that makes sense for the way we cook at home, taking you step by step with ingredients, measurements, instructions and timers, so you won’t miss a step.

What does it look like?

Here’s a screenshot of the Garlic and Zest homepage on the Fond app, but you can browse by course, dish type, blogger, or a list of your favorites. It’s even got a dynamic search bar that lets you search by ingredient.

How does it work?

Choose a recipe, scan the ingredient list and start cooking.

Fond takes you through each step of the recipe with clear, concise instructions that include the measurements for each ingredient (so you won’t leave anything out).

After you finish a step, tap the screen and the app takes you to the next step. Fond helps you make the best use of your time in the kitchen by laying out the steps efficiently and automatically setting timers when needed.

When you’re done cooking, you can even snap a quick pic and share to the app, rate the recipe and add any notes for your personal archive.
